Not all are old enough to ski or snowboard. Some are not as athletically able or willing to try or learn. Tubing was invented for those not seeking the physical challenge of skiing or snowboarding but still willing to try an alpine endeavor. It is easy, fun and everyone can do it.
Woolly's Adventure Tubing Park is on the drive up Minaret Road to the Mammoth Main Lodge (on your right hand side as you drive up the mountain).
First sign all the release forms in the front office, get a tube then get in line.
The attendant will clip your tube to the rope tow to take you up the mountain
Race your friends down the hill. Those in the observation area will cheer for you (if they are paying attention).
The play area is also a lot of fun for kids.
