Have a beer at the base or head to the nearby resorts of Breckenridge or Keystone, or to the local towns of Dillon or Frisco. There is no A-Basin town or base village, just food service in the "A-frame" building or head to the premier apres ski spot at A-Basin, the 6th Alley Bar and Grill with it's notable outdoor patio, at the mountain end of the "A-frame". Due to the limited base facilities, the resourceful hearty patrons of A-Basin often pull out the lawn chairs to tailgate and barbecue along what is now known as the "Riviera" or "The Beach" along the edge of the parking lot. This is especially popular in spring during warmer weather and later sunsets. When partying along the "Riviera", your will have to bring your own food and beverages.
The base and mid-mountain lodges are your only options for food purchase. A-Basin is a simple ski area, absent of fancy restaurants but they can adequately feed you.
Lunch at the base of the mountain

Head to the nearby resorts of Breckenridge or Keystone, or to the local towns of Dillon or Frisco or even back down the mountain to Denver, as there is no nightlife at the mountain base of A-Basin.
