Trans Canada Highway on the way to Banff and Norquay
Mount Norquay Ski Resort Location:
Mount Norquay is located on the other side of the Trans Canada Highway, 6 km (metric system is used in Canada - get use to it) or about 5 minutes from Banff Alberta Canada.
If flying in, your destination is Calgary Alberta Canada. One can then rent a car or take a shuttle to Banff.
Banff is 128 kilometres (80 miles) west of Calgary.
The Town of Banff is located in the Rocky Mountains inside the boundaries of Banff National Park. The park will require all visitors to purchase a park pass.

From Banff, city buses can get you to the resort of Mount Norquay.

From Calgary Airport:
Take Airport Road - turns into Barlow Trail NE
Turn Left onto Country Hills Blvd (West)
Turn right onto Alberta Hwy 2 (North) [Ramp to Red Deer]
Exit 271 for Alberta Hwy 201 [West Stoney Trail]
Take exit 36 for Trans Canada Hwy 1 West
Take Banff exit and turn right onto Mount Norquay Scenic Drive to Norquay.
(for the town of Banf, turn Left)
From Banff:
Take Banff Avenue West
(everything in Banff connects to the main road: Banff Avenue)
Turn Right on Wolf Street
Turn Right onto Lynx Street - turns into Gopher Street and then turns into Mount Norquay Road. Cross the Highway to Norquay.
Note that many GPS routes are confused here and will take you to the East end of Banff on Banff Avenue to get to Hwy 1, just to double back to the Mount Norquay Road exit.
Mount Norquay Road is accessible from the town of Banff at the West end. Just cross the highway and you are there.

Norquay provides an adequate lot at the base of the mountain at the main lodge.
