Powder Mountain is located 55 miles from the Salt Lake City airport, just 19 miles Northeast of Ogden Utah. Flights to Salt Lake City Utah are numerous from all over the US. One can then rent a car and drive to the resort, take a shuttle. The resort of Powder Mountain also has a resort shuttle bus for hire for groups sizes of 20 or more (shuttle@powdermountain.com or call 385-238-0711).
There are also public Utah Transit Authority (UTA) buses for local transportation.

Located 55 miles from the Salt Lake City airport just 19 miles Northeast of Ogden Utah.
- From Salt Lake City Airport: (Southeast)
- Take I-15 north to Ogden's 12th Street
- Head East on 12th Street and follow the signs through Ogden Canyon.
- From Park City:
- Take I-80 east to I-84 junction
- Head West on I-84 to exit 96 and follow the signs.
Parking:
There are three parking areas: at Sundown lodge (lowest), at the Timberline main lodge (the largest lot mid-mountain) and at the peak (highest) at Sky Lodge. Lift pass purchases are available for purchase at all three locations. Each area is accessible from the main road up to the mountain, highway 158 and its extension, Powder Ridge Road. Shuttle busses connect all three areas.
